My posts kind of seem like a story. From work life to retreats at beach and then being under the weather. Craving home, meeting parents and then again circling back to the main tasks at hand. It is a never ending process which is comprised of mood swings, wants, desires, views and meetups.

My previous post was all about being at home but sadly all good things have an end. I spent 4 days with my parents and then went Lahore for work related meetings. Travel in this time of year is not at all good. It is October but feels like June/July most of the times. I reached Lahore, changed my attire and rushed to join my team. We discussed the team's goals and objectives, either they were met or not and called it a day.

Team headed back to Karachi from Lahore the next day and I didn't feel like leaving Lahore so soon. I applied for leaves for the rest of the weekend and upon confirmation called every friend of mine who was in Lahore to plan something. I met my Montessori-friends after almost 11 months. We did futsal, chai sessions, food hunts and so much more. The best thing for me was to meet my dearest friend's daughter. All in all the trip went very well. Saw faces which I really wanted to. Ate from my favorite cuisines. It was a nice get-together. In general, Lahore never disappoints.

It was a bit of emotional for me to leave Lahore. Although I did spend good days there but when you know some of your friends are leaving for their Masters, PhD or job to other countries then it feels heavy. I wish them luck and only God knows when we will be able to see each other again, not virtually but physically.
