Cygnus is the name of a record breaking cat having a tail that measures 44.66 cm (17.58 inches) comes with its fair share of challenges.

His owners say that Cygnus will dip his tail into things accidentally as it’s so far away from his body.

2.world's tallest domestic cat

Arcturus has officially been confirmed as the Tallest domestic cat and reaches a stature of 48.4 cm (19.05 in) and weighs about 30 pounds
His owners say that he eats around a pound and a half of food daily and is so tall he can actually stand at the table to eat.

3.world's longest tail on a dog

The longest tail on a dog measures 76.8 cm (30.2 in), achieved by Keon who is owned by Ilse Loodts (both Belgium), in Westerlo, Belgium, on 18 August 2015.

4.world's tallest horse

The tallest living horse is Big Jake, a nine-year-old Belgian Gelding horse, who measured 20 hands 2.75 in (210.19 cm, 82.75 in), without shoes, at Smokey Hollow Farms in Poynette, Wisconsin, USA, on 19 January 2010.

The most balls caught by a dog with the paws in one minute is 14 and was achieved by Purin and her owner Makoto Kumagai (both Japan) in Sakura, Chiba, Japan, on 22 March 2015.

Purin is a 9 year-old female beagle

6.World's fastest tortoise

The greatest speed achieved by a tortoise is 0.28 m/s (0.92 ft/s) and was achieved by Bertie at Adventure Valley, Brasside, UK on 9 July 2014.

7.world's longest fur on a rabbit

The longest fur on a rabbit is 36.5 cm (14.37 in) and belongs to Franchesca, owned by Betty Chu (USA), as measured in Morgan Hill, California, USA, on 17 August 2014.

Franchesca’s proud owner is Dr Betty Chu (USA); she’s an expert on the English Angora rabbit, which is often mistaken for a Pekingese dog and needs a great deal of care… and a lot of grooming of that dense, silky fur.
