Sole mission
I have never been a big fan of letting go
My poky mind shall harbour you
Until my bones are rotten
Thoughts of you struggle in my head
Each one trying to get preeminence
No longer sure if that is the only
Reason my heart throbs
On my cardiac walls,
Each time I decide to face you
Or whether the blazing confidence
In your eyes is inclusive
In the streets of my mind,
You sashay everyday
And I feel a sea of eyes on you
Many male eyes
More than there are bees
Sucking juice from budding petals
Of flamboyants.
So much of competitors
To contend with.
In this maze, my own thoughts stray
Wander amorously around your face
Linger on your lips,
And trail down your neck
To some valley in between your breasts
Why do you always leave it unbuttoned?
I am not asking you to do that either
Further than that, I refuse to imagine
I shake my head
As if to get rid of the thoughts
And retrace them
Like a drenched bear
Shakes off water from its fur
Towards the West of your smile
Sits deep, a dimple
Which houses a hamper of smiles
And beauty.
Wide enough, a reservoir of joy
My heart grows heavier
With each thought of facing you
Many missions of this sort,
I have abandoned
Last time, even a Dutch courage sank.
Went down my stomach's cesspool
And I could feel other famished remains
Of previous attempts tell the new inmate
"Oh brother, you can do this"
Alas! You are the high I always give up
Just in the nick of time
Like a thief repents
On his way to commit a crime.
But today,
This noble cause I shall fulfill.

Hey! Even though I don´t read much poetry, I actually read yours till the end. It´s got some nice touches, like "Like a thief repents on his way to commit a crime". That´s good!
Anyway, here is my attempt:
Trying new things is the main thing I love,
Even writing in my other tongues moves me very much,
But I can´t write good poetry and know not how to make a song,
I write humour and stories, so I urge you to check out my blog,
And thus end my feeble attempt at marketing as such.
