🏃 My Running Log | 18/03 | 6.5km | Total - 289.6km in 2019! | 20 days until Norwich Half Marathon
I just finished a 6.511km run that lasted about 0hh:27mm:47ss !

Didn't really know what specific effort I was going to do when I set off for a run today. I've spent most of the day traveling back up to Norwich for a couple of weeks before my Easter break - traveling tends to take quite a lot out of me, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do a solid run.
I decided to cut through Eaton Park, run down Bluebell Road, and then run back up Unthank Road - one of my usual routes, around 5km in length. I started off at a solid pace but as I just wanted to shake my legs out, I didn't push on too much. I felt good after a kilometre, so I figured I'd turn the run into a progressive 5km (getting quicker at each split). I ran kilometres of 4:22/km, 4:12/km, 4:08/km, 4:09/km and 4:02/km, before having a minute long breather and then heading back to my Uni house at an easy pace. I was very impressed with this effort, and I managed to set some PRs on some Strava Segments - 5th and 7th fastest this year out of 200 odd, and the top 50 out of 1000 for all time.
I have an exam on Thursday Afternoon that I need to do a LOT of preparation for, so I'm a little unsure how the rest of my week is going to go running wise. I'll probably head out tomorrow for a 10km (two laps of the same run I just did) and aim for 4:25/km or faster. Then I guess I might have to wait until Friday for my next run, but I'd like to run a Half Marathon at the pace I'm targeting on Sunday!

Nice work, dude! Good job on the PR's!
Out of curiosity -- what are you going to Uni for?
Thank you! :)
I'm currently studying Economics at the University of East Anglia. Over in the UK it's pretty much standard practice to go to Uni, and it would be tough to get a job without it. That being said, after 2 and a bit years of it, I am so done with it all and cannot wait to graduate!

Ah yeah I hear that. I've done my fair share of school and I've promised myself (and my partner) that I'm never going back! ahahaha.
Good luck with your studies!

Looks like you went a bit faster than usual this time! Nice work!
