The Next Big Thing - The Sherlocks
Hey everyone,
So today I would like to introduce you to one of my favourite bands. I honestly belive that these guys are going to be massive.
The Sherlocks
I first saw the Sherlocks at Mosborough Music festival (near Sheffield, UK) a few years ago. They were pretty much just starting out but it was clear, even back then, they had talent. There were a lot of bands playing over that weekend but they stood out by a mile from the others.
Fast forward to the present and its exciting times for the band and their fans. They were recently signed to the Infectious Music label (Dec 2016) and their first album, 'Live For the Moment' is due for release later this month.
So who are they?
The band consists of two sets of brothers, Kiaran & Brandon Crook, Andy & Josh Davidson. They come from Bolton upon Dearne, South Yorkshire, UK.
A couple of years ago the Sherlocks played a small Christmas party gig in there hometown pub in Bolton upon Dearne. I was privalleged to have been there, what a night!
They've Come Along Way Since Then
The Sherlocks have spent the last few years working hard, giging all over the country and that effort is finally paying off. Believe me, these guys are going to be huge.
2016 saw them returning to the Reading and Leeds festival, closing the BBC introducing stage, plus the supported the Libertines on their arena tour.
I hope you enjoyed the video. I have tickets to see them in Nottingham at Rock City this September, I cant wait :)
