Lunch Break At The Range
Texas Rule No. 47
When your friend shows up at lunch with a bag full of guns and says "Lets Go!"
You take off and go shoot!
I went by my house to grab my range bag and 10 minutes later we are at the range.
My buddy, Doug.
Can you tell which holes are mine?
My Guns:
- 1952 Smith & Wesson 38/44 Revolver
- Smith & Wesson .38 cal Airweight
- Springfield Armory 1911 GI .45 cal
Doug's Guns:
- H&K 9mm with Silencer
- CZ Scorpion Carbine 9mm with Silencer
We shot some subsonic rounds thru the 9mm both and they were noticeably quieter and less recoil.
My daily carry is the S&M Airweight. It felt good to get some more training in with that piece. I put about 50 rds of .38 cal and 50 rounds of .45 cal downrange.

Right down the middle shooting. Nice looking range, and not crowded.
I see the grating on the floor so you don't pick up your brass.
5 yards and 7 yards. All center mass. It is a really nice range. Only 2 years old. But expensive. Luckily, Doug is a member so it only cost me $10 to shoot. I don't reload but like to save my brass anyway. I saved all my revolver brass. The semi-autos are harder to catch. =)
$10 good price. Yeah the 45 brass would be nice to save.

I highly suggest you try it out. If you don't have a friend that can take you and teach you, most ranges have classes. It is fun and a skill that can save your life one day.
