Celebration the National Day.
Stories from the north. May 17.
May 17 is the Constitution Day in Norway. All over Norway, children's parades with an abundance of flags form the central elements of the celebration. During the parade, a marching band will play and the children sing lyrics about the celebration of the National Day. The parade concludes with the stationary singing of the national anthem "Ja, vi elsker dette landet"
With all the restrictions according to Covid 19 there was not arranged parades this year either. We celebrated part of the day in the mountain. We set a flag on the backpack and had a great mini "parade" up to a peak across the fjord where I live. In great weather and some good food we had a great celebration with a nice view in red, blue and white.

That sounds nice Holiday, seems that the weather was good too. I remember such parade when I was a child in school and had a lot of fun, because the school was cancelled that day.
Nice to see your country flags. I bet it was tasty to enjoy your food outside :)
