Geurutee Peak

Aceh Jaya District holds extraordinary natural wealth. One of them is Geurutee Peak which is never deserted, flooded by local and foreign tourists. This peak is located on the border between Aceh Jaya and Aceh Besar Regencies, about 1 hour 30 minutes from Banda Aceh City, the capital of Aceh Province.

Geurutee Peak is a peak of the same mountain name. Mount Geurutee is the national road crossing to the south western region of Aceh. Geurutee is also part of the Ulu Masen forest which is now designated as one of the forests that supply oxygen to the world. This mountain has a very deep ravine and is directly adjacent to the shoreline of the Indian Ocean.
