Lisk Blockchain Temporarily Halted (Resolved)

Activity on the Lisk blockchain halted early today as a transaction deemed invalid and malicious triggered an automated safety feature. According to Lisk, a fix has been implemented and the chain is back to business as usual. The market did not experience any panic-induced volatility, with many users praising the quick timeline from problem to solution.

FUSION Secures $12 Billion in Assets

Blockchain financial company FUSION announced that it has secured over $12 billion in digital assets now locked in to its platform. The assets, it says, were secured through “strategic partnerships with leading corporations in the asset management, second hand car financing and restaurant supply chain management spaces.” FUSION’s testnet launched on May 31; a full list of features can be found in the source article above.

Enjin Wallet Infinity Update

StakeNet Launch Date Announced

StakeNet (XSN), a “trustless banking ecosystem for crypto assets,” announced via their Twitter that they will be launching on June 30, 2018. The XSN network will support features like Multiwallets and Atomic Swaps.

Nebulas Bounty Program

In addition to their developer incentive program, Nebulas is now offering NAS for “developer bounties,” longer-term projects with a focus on growing and improving the Nebulas technology ecosystem. New York Bill Seeks to Establish “Crypto Task Force”

A bill in the New York state legislature aimed at creating a crypto “task force” continues to make its way through the house. The bill would establish a council of advisers to the governor and the legislature with the aim of keeping them informed of “potential effects” of cryptocurrencies and digital assets on the state’s financial markets as well as recommending legislative and regulatory measures.

Huboi & Partners Launch $93 Million Crypto Fund

Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi has partnered with a Chinese investment firm and a South Korean securities firm to launch a $93 million initiative to fund blockchain projects. The crypto fund will aim to increase collaboration between the two countries on blockchain projects.

Binance Visits with Malta Stock Exchange

The CEO of Binance visited with the Malta Stock Exchange. Both parties thanked the other for the exchange on Twitter, with Binance advocating “collaboration over competition.”

TD Ameritrade Launches Anti-Blockchain Ad

TD Ameritrade recently marketed its financial services as an alternative to blockchain, which it characterizes as “not easy” to learn about. Besides being mildly insulting to readers, if their strongest argument against blockchain technology is the effort required to become educated about it, TD Ameritrade may find that snarky advertising isn’t enough to deter potential users.

Some are saying that "NoCoiner" is an insult... I think it's just a campaign aiming to create some FOMO for people. Nothing negative.. I guess the term could be used with intent to insult... any thoughts on this?
