Enigma Testnet Code Release

Enigma has released the code for its testnet, now available on Github. Note that while the post specifically says the testnet has been released, the code is for a local docker instance. Developers can deploy and test “secret contracts,” Enigma’s proprietary privacy contracts.

Blue Protocol Alleges “Extremely Destructive Flaws” in Top Coins

The Blue Protocol, a decentralized security solution, is claiming on it’s Twitter that “more than half” of the top 50 coins have critical security vulnerabilities. They did not specify which coins, saying "the information" would be released tomorrow and sounding vaguely ominous.

Kraken Responds To Bloomberg Criticism

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has fired back at Bloomberg after a recent article claimed that the activity of Tether on the exchange was suspicious. In a post published yesterday, Kraken alleges that the Bloomberg article “fails to comprehend basic market concepts” and in turn all but accuses Bloomberg of price manipulation. It then goes on to address and negate Bloomberg’s arguments point by point. It’s an article full of attitude, with the data to back it up. Best of both worlds.

Electric Scooters Are Apparently The Next Big Thing in Blockchain

Spin, a ride-share service, has raised approximately $125 million through its security token offering (SCO). Spin will be trying to bring electric scooters to San Francisco, joining an industry that has raised over $500 million already for other startups.

Russian Military To Build Blockchain Lab

The Russian Ministry of Defense plans to a open a lab dedicated to blockchain research in order to mitigate cybersecurity threats. There was no timeline given, but the project has already hired several information security experts.

Ethereum Gas Prices Hit Moon

Ether has gone straight 2008 on its gas prices recently, with current recommendations at over 100 gwei for a fast transaction. One Reddit user is placing the blame on Fcoin, an exchange, and the vote they are currently running for new token listings. The vote was originally scheduled to finish yesterday, but currently it seems there isn’t an end in sight.
