EN: The photo was taken in the Finnish bay near Saint Petersburg. I really wanted to hide everything from the photo, like people, buildings and clouds. Only a pole stands alone in the ice which shows an angler his fishing area. I could have easily faded it out with Photoshop, but somehow it leads you into the photo.

DE: Das Foto ist in der finnischen Bucht bei Sankt Petersburg entstanden. Ich wollte tatsächlich alles aus dem Foto ausblenden, wie Menschen, Gebäude und Wolken. Einzig und allein steht ein Pfahl im Eis, der einem Angler sein Anglerrevier zeigt. Ich hätte ihn leicht mit Photoshop ausblenden können, aber irgendwie führt er einen in das Foto hinein.
