Hello Steemit! Eggplant is considered on of the worlds healthiest food. It's long prized for it's deep purple, glossy beauty as well as it's unique taste and texture. It's available usually year round but are at there best from August to October when it's in season.

Eggplant belongs to the nightshade family, which includes tomatoes,bell pepper's and potatoes. They grow similar to tomatoes on a vine on a plant that grows several feet high.
