#7DayPositivityChallenge Day 4: Family
On Day 4, I'm finally looking at what and who I have in my life and not just at circumstances of the day. This series has helped me look at my daily circumstance from a different perspective, as well as counting the blessings in my life.
Today I'm giving thanks for my family.

I am thankful for my husband, @danielwong. First of all, he is my church friend actually. We met in church in the beginning. Then we became good friends. We courted since 2010 and got married in 2013. He is a very wise person and he has this talent that he can do almost everything well, as long he tries it. He is a non-trained chef, owns a food business and he is even better at doing the dishes than me. He is just one super talented musician, untrained but self -learnt too. Daniel is great with children too, including our son too. He has a wit that makes us laugh. Besides that, he is a very anointed pastor. He directs the worship team in church and flows very well with worship. He is gifted to see into someone's life and if the person is willing, he is able to pinpoint the struggle a person is going through with also great solutions or makes us think. I go to him for godly counsel too. Personally, he has been very tolerant with me. We have our fair share of fights and disagreements, of course, but we don't let those get in the way of doing marriage together as a covenanted union. I am thankful for him doing the dishes when he saw me all tired, night shoulder massage and body cracking almost every night, if he doesn't fall off to sleep before me. He also introduced me to Steemit and believes in me more than I do! Thank you @danielwong and I love you!
Secondly, of course I am grateful for our little boy who is turning 3 in 3 weeks' time! The arrival of Levi has changed our life so much. He does the most random things sometimes, like he was kissing me while I was napping. Well, I couldn't get mad waking up to that. He also says the darnest things sometimes. Today, he was telling me about the instructions on his surprise egg. Yes, he actually said "instructions"! Levi is very attached to me, since I am with him since birth. He is one snuggly little boy and he says sorry with the loveliest tone. He likes to play with us, especially with his daddy. They are a fantastic duo. Levi always gives the sweetest smile. Honestly, motherhood has its ups and downs. Besides Levi crying, I also cry too. We manage to hug and love each other better after that. Levi has brought to us so much joy, truly came to us as a bundle of joy. It is our blessing to have him. I am thankful I am chosen to be his mom and to grow up with this wonderful boy.
Thirdly, I want to also give thanks for my parents and also my parents-in-law. My parents are no longer staying in the same state as me. For us to meet them, we have to take a flight to cross over the South China Sea to Kuching, Sarawak, another state in the Eastern part of Malaysia. My parents aren't rich folks, in fact we sometimes barely had enough when we were young. However, they still raised my siblings and I up the best they know how, and I am grateful. I always treasure every time we can spend together now.
To my parents-in-law who always give selflessly and generously to us, I sure am blessed to be in this family. They are pastors by vocation and I have learnt so much from their lives. My son adores them and loves his playtime with his grandparents. He would usually go and show off share all his new interests with them. My parents-in-law are people who really lay down their lives, following God's leading.
Last but not least, the Person I am most grateful for is my God, Jehovah. He is also part of my family, or rather I am part of His family, lol. I am accepted as His child the moment I decided to have Him in my life some 13 to 14 years ago. There isn't a single day I regret about this decision. He has changed my life totally and loved me in times of insecurities, hurts and also high moments like celebrations. He has spoken the most assuring words which have changed me. He has faith in me before I even know Who He is. He has called me His Beloved, that itself makes me know that I never need to beg for any love anymore. I can stand secure in my identity that He gave me and in His great love bestowed upon me, so much so that nothing and no one can separate me from Him, not even myself. In Him, I am found. We have gone through many things in this relationship and I am glad to say that He is so real.

Today, I am grateful for these loved ones God has put into my life!
Now, about this challenge I am in...
- Write a post about something you have to be positive about today - this could be anything from being thankful for your current situation, someone being nice to you, being thankful for your friends and family, or even being thankful for the opportunity you have been given here on Steemit - just keep it positive :)
- Do this for 7 days in a row if you get nominated
- Mention three people who should do this on each day.
- Tag it with #7daypositivitychallenge and include these rules at the bottom of your post
(Tip: You need to put the # in front of 7daypositivitychallenge or it will not let you use the tag.) - Include a picture of something positive (related to your story if possible).
So say the rules, I have to tag 3 persons each day! However, it is up to you if you want to respond to the challenge. It is quite a nice way to motivate us to write for seven days in a row, though.
Today, I'm tagging @marillaanne , @squishysquid and @kimzwarch!
Check out this challenge by @conradt! :)
