Whole Plant-based foods

I am on a journey to completely change my eating lifestyle to only whole plant-based foods. My journey began about 4 yrs ago when my competitive spirit wanted to win a weight loss contest at work! I read and followed Dr. Joel Furhman's book Eat toLive...it was revolutionary!!!!

Although I have waxed and waned since then, the information that I have gained over the past 4 years and health and wellness benefits are immeasurable! I want to share an awesome recipe I use over Thanksgiving for guests that was a real hit. It's for Deviled Mushrooms, without the typical unhealthy contents:

Deviled Mushrooms- (a variation of recipe from Kim Campbell's in the Plant Based Kitchen)
24 de-stemmed button mushrooms
1, 15 oz can of cannellini beans, rinsed and drained from can
1 tbsp water
2 tsp dijon mustard
3 tsp hot sauce
1.5 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp nutritional yeast falkes
2 tsp garlic powder
2tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt

Cook mushrooms on parchment paper @400 deg, let cool. Mix other ingredients in food processor until creamy. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps, garnish with paprika. YUMMMM!!!
1 tsp paprika for garnish
