The Diary Game - 4/10/2022

Helllo Friends!

It's been a while since I joined Steemit, Today is the day I will be sharing my very first post. I would love to share my day with all my friends on Steemit.

And my first post will be posted on #steemwomenclub.

I think writing a daily diary makes my day more productive and I enjoy it. Now I can go back on days easily and one day I will be able to see how fast our lives are changing. Isn't it amazing?? oh, I'm so excited!

It's the 10th of April, we are getting closer to the Sinhala and Tamil new year. Due to the prevailing situation in the country, I do not think any citizen in the country is able to celebrate the new year as we did before. The protest continues. But today fortunately it rained and we had just two hours of power cut in the evening.

If I go to work or not my mornings are always busy. I woke sharply at 6.00 am. Then I do my morning rituals, I take a wash, I make my tea, I make breakfast. I enjoyed some quality time with family while sipping a hot cup of tea. The sky today was dull and dark it was a lazy day for me.

At around 10.00 am I had my breakfast it was too heavy and I felt even more sleepy. I slept again. it was lunchtime when I woke up. My parents were already having lunch, I too joined them. After lunch, I was in the mood to hang out with my fiance.

I haven't been to a salon recently, so I asked him to take me to the salon. I got a hot oil hair massage and a face clean-up done. He waited until my work is complete, he is such a sweetheart. He never fails to make me happy whenever I feel low and down.

It was the time for dinner when we stepped out of the salon. We had our favorite dinner spot nearby. We both love to have authentic Srilankan food. So we ordered rice and curry.

Here we are able to choose any of four curries from a variety of delicious curries. You name it, they have it!

It was a well-spent evening with my fiance and I enjoyed spending time with him. After having endless chats he dropped me home. Then again I'm back to my bed planning my work for tomorrow.
