Hanging L Sit - Bodyweight/Calisthenics Training 010

Core strength is a must when focusing on body weight training and essential in progressing into more advanced calisthenics movements. In the video below I am demonstrating a Hanging L Sit including the modifications to make this exercise easier depending on your fitness level. I recommend taking the hardest version you can do with perfect form and when form starts to fail move into the next modification to continue holding the exercise as long as possible. If you are an absolute beginner, you will need to start with the very last progression of the video the hanging knee raise. Once you have mastered it, you can safely move onto the next hardest.

Just curious, but what's the distance from the pullup bar to the ceiling, and can your husband also use it without hitting his head?

The ceilings are about 9' and my husband has plenty of clearance he is 5'11" tall :)
