Queen Sirikit Park , Botanical Gardens.
Today i am going to take you for a walk around Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens and see how many unusual flowers and plants we can find. Queen Sirikit Park is in the Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand covering an area of approximately 55 acres.
The Queen Sirikit Park was built in built in 1992 and named after Queen of Thailand , Queen Sirikit to celebrate her 60th birthday. Today my purposes coming to this park is to see how many unusual flowers i can find to show.
Trying to find the most unusual flowers will be a task and maybe some of these you may already know and maybe not but another reason i am here is i discovered a blur camera on my Samsung A9 which i didn't know i had so i like to try that with the flowers here today.
According to google they say this flower is a Acianthera Pectinata and is a species of orchids. How interesting in how the way it grows like a pig intestines till it opens up and this amazing color evolves just stunning.
Here i am just playing with this blur camera on my Samsung A9 not bad i am liking it...lol :)
Moving further into this huge park i am looking at every corner to see what i can see that's unusual these are quite pretty they call this one the Pink Cabbage Rose very lovely in texture.
These i have seen around but they are such a delicate and pretty in many colors called the West Indian Lantana.
I do think they call this cute flower the African Daisy.
This is known as the Petunia Trumpet flower there are about 20 known species and they originated from the South American origin.
The Heliconia also known as the Lobster Claws their are 194 known species and are native to the America tropics just love architectural design in the way these grow very fascinating.
These are beautiful known in the family of the Wisteria they come in many beautiful colors and grow like a vine very decorative growing along a fence.
The Cherry blossom trees here in Thailand because of the weather conditions we see them bloom twice a year depending where they are planted one of my favorite flowers and so with many others.
There is so much beauty in this park that it would take you days to see everything to appreciate all the beauty once i am in these Botanical Gardens and surrounded by all this beauty i find it very difficult to walk away from.
Of course if you do intend to stay in the park over night there are many varieties of mushrooms you could cook yourself up a tasty mushroom soup..lol :)
And maybe a few bananas for desert.
And this one i do believe is one of the many species from the Bromeliaceae family very elegant looking.
Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk challenge it's certainly giving me more of a boost to get out there and see the beautiful things around us.

As usual you take great shots. I had no idea you have been using a Samsung 9s cellphone. You give me hope I can capture better photos with my new cellphone. I think I need to learn more about lighting. Another good post.
Thank you my friend i do have a Sony 7ii but i do use my Samsung A9 a lot because of 4 camera technology and the blur camera so it's easy to use and light to carry and brings out some amazing photos some probably better then my Sony camera...lol :)
They do have a lot of setting now on these cellphones for the camera including lighting but once you have mastered it you will love it.
