Spaghetti with spinach and tomato

Today is Sunday and I was just relaxing at home working on a crochet project and watching some Youtube videos.
I decided to make spaghetti for lunch using some of the ingredients that I have in the fridge.
I use only olive oil for cooking or salads and never heat it that much. So all I needed for this dish was:

Spring Onion. Well I know that it is autumn here but we still call it spring onion lol

Tomato

Garlic

Fresh spinach

Whole wheat pasta, because I think it is healthier.

Stir fry the garlic and onion in olive oil. Add the tomato and spinach and stir fry about 5 minutes. Add caper if you like it. I dont add salt to my food, but I add sometimes capers or olives. Of course I didnt add all of them, just 3 or 4 :)

As you see, I am using a clay pot for cooking, because it is more healthier :) And here we go!

I added also some Cheddar Cheese for decoration. Just Yummy!

I'm hungry :)

hhhh I know! Thats what happens to me when I see food :)

Hello @hanen! Thank you for sharing that recipe! Yummy! ;-)

Cooking in a clay pot sounds very interesting to me. It looks like terracotta - is it? Is there any glaze at the outside? Do you have a gas stove or an electric stove?

yes it is similar to that. I will make a photo of it next time. What I have has 2 pieces that is used for cooking downside and streaming whatever you put on the top. We used usually to cook couscous but also helpful to steam fish or vegetables :)
I am using a normal gas stove

It is funny because while writing this I kept writing steem instead of steam all the time lol

:-) you are a real steemian if you steem your food! do you think it could also be used on an electric stove?

Yes of course. All depends on the first day. When you buy a new one you should keep it in water overnight. In the next day boil water in it and maybe one spoon of rice or anything else on low fire. Then you can start using normal. I am using it for 3 months now and everything is perfect I use it nearly for every dish.

I am posting the photos of the clay pot now!

Ja werde ich es morgen washen und photographieren.
Ich hab auch am anfang Youtube videos eingeschaut wo sie sowas erklaert hatten und dann hab ich wieder im Laden nachgefragen und sie hat es bestaetigt.

Yummy! Spaghetti are always a good idea! :)

Yes easy and tasty :)

That looks very delicious! I love spinach, but never thought to add it to pasta recipes; maybe I will try soon :) Thanks for the tip!

Oh then you missed something. Check creamy spinach and cheese pasta recipes. They are just yummy!

Delicious looking pasta dish! I have never used a clay pot to cook before, what are the benefits of using one instead of a normal saucepan? I am interested :)
