Christmas time in Istanbul
Hi Steemian,
Istanbul is big city where you meet people form all over the world. They work, study and come for holidays. I made many good friends here and meet them whenever I come back. Now it is the Christmas season here and all the shopping malls are nicely decorated. The streets, the restaurants and the houses. You see the colorful lights in the window and doors.
My favorite mall here is Cevahir mall. You have a big choice of Turkish and International brands. In the food court you find different delicious food for every taste. It is always crowded and that makes me feel better. I want to see always people around me and thats what makes it very unique!
I had very simple Turkish food, but full of vitamins. The traditional lentils soup and red beans with carrots in a nice gravy.
The sale started some days ago and everybody is out for shopping. Some people are interested in Fashion, while others are preparing for the Christmas days. You see the colorful gifts and Christmas ornaments mostly in every shop. Cute small Christmas trees and delicious pastries. The smell of cinnamon and vanilla and different shaped candles. You feel like staying there forever :)

it is definitely very happy especially the new year atmosphere must be crowded of course this makes you more happy to enjoy
