Sharp Launches R1s & Pi

Japanese electronics maker Sharp tried his luck in the Indonesian smartphone market, with the release of Android phones Sharp R1s and Sharp Pi.
Both Sharp Android smartphone is the fifth smartphone launched in Indonesia, in the last year.
Both Sharp R1s and Sharp Pi fall into the entry-level category, with the market segmentation of young people, so the specifications are tailored.
Sharp Pi
Sharp Pi claimed superior in terms of camera. The dual camera on the back has a 13 megapixel resolution with autofocus and 2 megapixels with f / 2.2 lens openings, complete with LED flash. Dual camera aka dual camera is claimed to be able to produce a pretty good picture bokeh.
The front pinned 8 megapixel camera with f / 2.2 lens openings and LED flash. In terms of front view, Sharp Pi supported screen IPS HD resolution of 5.2 inch and a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the display.
The chipset uses MediaTek MT673M which includes quad-core CPU components and runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system (OS). Sharp Pi brings a battery capacity of 3050 mAh paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage media.
Sharp R1s
As for Sharp R1s, claimed to be superior in battery terms. Proven with a capacity of 5,000 mAh battery that is promised to last up to six days in a single charge.
The R1s specification is slightly above Pi with larger screen support, ie 5.5 inches with HD resolution.
Sharp R1s brings MediaTek MT6750 chip paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Sharp R1s also has a dual camera on the back of each resolution of 13 megapixel autofocus and 5 megapixel camera with f / 2.0 and LED flash openings.
The front camera has a 5 megapixel resolution with f / 2.4 openings. Like Sharp Pi, on the front was pinned fingerprint sensor scanner or fingerprint scanner below the screen. This series also uses Android OS 7.0 Nougat as its operating system.
Sharp Pi is available in two color variants, namely gold and black with the official price of Rp 1.9 million, while R1s is only available in one color with a black price tag of Rp 2.6 million.
From a written statement received KompasTekno, Thursday (8/2/2018), Sharp R1s and Sharp Pi has been available on online trading sites in Indonesia, such as Blibli, Dinomarket, Tokopedia, as well as offline shop Sharp smartphones in Indonesia.
"Not only the product side that we improve, but after salespun service we pay attention", said Country Director SHARP Smartphone Indonesia, Johny Lin in a written statement, Monday (5/2/2018).
He also revealed, Sharp brings at least 14 more smartphones to the Indonesian market this year.
