BEAUTY CONTEST
I really can’t count how many beauty contests are held in Vietnam annual year, like Miss Vietnam, Miss Universe Vietnam, Miss Sport, Miss Ocean, etc. OMG feeling confuse T.T
Miss title in Vietnam seems to be too popular, and it’s not worthy as the previous years. Some candidates after winning a prize are exposed imagine which accused the crazy and dirty party of them in the past. I think that, being a Miss who stands for the beauty of Vietnam must have necessary and sufficient conditions are the appearance, clean profile, and a clear plan which is carried out after she has been a winner.
Whether be recognized or not, in my opinion there are not any standards to evaluate how to be a pretty woman. In the flow of time, an extremely beauty also become aging with skin wrinkles and age spot and rough. And the only thing which makes us become more beautiful day-by-day is the soul beauty. Thus, growing the inner beauty is the most important in our life.
The last, beauty standards differ, and we’re all beautiful in our own special way.
New contest miss Vietnam
It is encouraging to read views like yours. I think that modern life has challenged traditional values - this led to us becoming superficial, so contests that focus on anything but superficial things will be unpoular. In my opinion, it is better that we begin to ignore such contests altogether and turn our attention to personal growth so that we may influence our communities in positive ways.
