Let's see ‘Lalbagh Kella’ - the historical place of old Dhaka [Second Part]
Hello Dtube Friends,
Good Morning all
Hope all are very well and healthy, I am also fine and trying to enjoy my time with travel of historical places of Dhaka.
Friends, today I have come here again with the second part of ‘Lalbagh Kella’ in the historical place of old Dhaka. Hope you like this video.
You know, I love to travel all the time, whenever I get the chance to go around. Not only is the green nature, but it seems very nice to see historical places. So I try to travel around the historical places of Dhaka.
As far as the history is concerned about the construction of the ‘Lalbagh Kella’, the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb's son, Prince Azam, started the construction of a palace in old Dhaka in 1678. At the beginning of the construction this palace was named 'Aurangabad Kella'.
But later, when the Prince returned to Delhi, its construction was unfinished, the Kella was declared abandoned. At the time of the declaration, the name changed to a new name 'Lalbagh Kella'. But many people say that since it is located in Lalbagh area, it has been named 'Lalbagh Kella' in line with the name of the area.
But one thing needs to be noted here that, although it started building as a residence, it was later built to form a stronghold for thinking and protecting Dhaka from the attacks of exotic enemies. However, it is currently under maintenance of the Archeology Department of Bangladesh Government.
Okay friend that’s all for today. Hopefully, I will finish the story of ‘Lalbagh Kella’ in the next phase.
Thank you all for watching my video.
