Gritty, punk, surreal, sci-fi, fully watercolor graphic novel, anyone?

You're at the right door. Here, at Haedre's HQ, is produced, with the necessary time, traditionnal, handcrafted illustrated stories. Well, don't take my word for it, just check it out.

This is page 13.
Devlok, the techno-templar_19.jpg

Curious for the beginning? You can read the 12 previous pages by scrolling my profile down.

But I also propose a resume of chapter one:

"In the Hyperhedron, after having left the Mnemoplex, Devlok the techno-templar and his fidel nanomorph drone Phtae, encounter the crash of their Shuttle on a poly-teflo-carbon gigatube located in the non-sequenced zones. That's where an artificial intelligence called "Trêve" will extract our protagonist genetic's, claiming helping the resurrection of an extinct species. That wasn't counting on Phtae's morphing power, helping Devlok to escape his cell. The both of them, will hunt the A.I. back... "

Page 14 comes next ;)

had to look after @thermoplastic resteemed this... And I was not disappointed at all, great page for the comic; the concept and the words you use are very interesting, that sci-fi mumbo-jumbo reminds me a Philip Dick and I love it! Very interesting post titles in your blog as well, sci-fi, HR Giger and Berlin, yes, a perfect mixture; i'll have to check them all out soon.

Thanks for having had a visit and for the kind words @nyarlathotep! I must say the mumbo-jumbo is rather influenced by works from Jodorowsky (The incal, the cast of the meta-barons, ... ) and of course all the 70's, 80's, 90's "old fashionned" sci-fi from "Heavy metal" and similar (I read PKD much later). About Berlin, the city seems to not host so many sci-fi artists but on my point of view, it does have somewhat of a dark (fictionnal) brutalist style. probably due to all the gritty remaining ex-GDR stuff :D

Yes, I think Jodorowsky's influence is evident in the art too - can't tell about the script yet, I have to go through all your posts. I fell for Berlin since my first visit there, and for some reason I have it connected to Lang's Metropolis - in my mind, the story takes place in a dystopian Berlin!

Really cool work! Reminds me of Moebius and H. R. Giger. I will read the full comic definitely!

so cool! Wish i could do this

Nice work - reminds me of the great Moebius!

Dear @kathleenscarboro, thanks for your comment. Obviously you are 100% right! Giraud had and still has today, one of the strongest influence over my works. I'd never do what I do without such artists.

He actually stayed in my apartment in Paris for a few days back in the 1970's. Guess I'm giving away my age! He was a very nice man and a fabulous artist who inspired so many.

Lucky you to have met the master ;)

I like the abstract, yet perspective quality of you main post image. I will upvote and follow to keep abreast of your work!

Thanks for appreciating @sphericalart! This is the "Mnemoplex", a cyclopean crystal formation that grew up out of extreme concentration of data. A phenomenom that appears in the "Hyperhedron", the world I created to stick my story in.
