A funny Nigerian slang goes thus : “Monkey no fine but im Mama like am” (a monkey isnt beautiful but it is loved by its mother), this proves that every living being on this earth realm and every creature’s perception of beauty largely differs.

Considering the distinctive contrast between an enthusiastic school boy with a crush and also the carnally motivated infatuations of a love struck gentleman although both seem to largely differ from one another, the duo base beauty on what they see at the moment. But that doesn’t mean that that is all there is to beauty because beauty is not a one-off thing, but a life long endorsement.

Same goes for a biased woman who goes as far as making sure that she marries a handsome man just so she can produce beautiful off-springs forgetting that beauty is not just in looks but in the heart.
The bible was never wrong to say “Above all else watch over your heart, diligently guard it because from a sincere and pure heart comes the good and noble things of life ” (Prov 4:24).

Beauty is life, it is the life we are able to produce and give others. Beauty is what comes out of our being, that which can not be seen with the physical eyes except when it is demonstrated or acted.
Hence we can conveniently conclude that every individual creature (parents and off-springs included) maintains a personal preferred criteria of beauty, which interestingly is eventually susceptible to both evolving or whimsical changes.

Marriam Webster defines “Beauty” as “The quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit” source.

It is then safe to further say Beauty lies everywhere around us, from the sun, the little bugs on decaying woods, birds in the blue sky, and my beautiful self.

I am royalty, that is why I like the colour purple which is common amongst queens and kings.
This which was actually due to the rare supply of the purple dye in ancient times, it soon became a choice for only the rich and royalty, well now it is common it is still a colour of choice amongst royalty. I have chosen a purple theme as my cover picture.

I believe I am beautiful because I have a good heart and a desire for a better world around me, a happier one, a better environment, a world free of global warming.
I also try to put the best of my effort in the most little things I do, I believe in excellence. I am beautiful.
