2018 New Years Goals: Make More DTube Videos + Building Platforms!

In the spirit of setting goals for the New Year, here are the things I’d like to accomplish and maintain on Steem/Steemit/DTube for 2018!

Develop a Robust But Manageable Content Schedule

3 Vlogs per week
Similar to this video and the videos I’ve made recently about DTube and Privacy, I want to keep making Vlog style videos on a regular basis.

2 PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) Livestreams and Edited Videos per week
I plan on livestreaming on DLive, but also Twitch and YouTube, and then editing those down to digestible videos after the fact for DTube. Fingers crossed I’ll get a few more Chicken Dinners while I’m at it!

Complete a Pokemon Nuzlocke Run
Livestream myself attempting a Pokemon (Blue) Nuzlocke Run at least twice a week, and upload edited videos at least twice a week as well. We’ll see how long this takes!

Livestream Guitar Hero
Keep honig my Guitar Hero skills on Expert mode and livestream it at least twice a week. Not sure how many edited videos this is gonna have, so no set amount there.

VR and Indie Game Livestreams + Videos
Find some of the coolest new VR and Indie games and livestream them (if it makes sense) as well as creating at least 1 new video a week.

Continue to Contribute Meaningful Content to Utopian

I’ve submitted one post thus far, still awaiting approval. But I think I can translate at least one idea I have in a Vlog into a full fledged Utopian contribution a week, so let’s aim for that!

Onboard at Least 1 Community Onto Steemit

Flow Arts Community
Before working in Advertising, I was heavily involved in the Flow Arts, Fire Spinning and Hooping scene for years. It’s a niche but growing community, and one that is ripe for the type of platform that can give an additional monetary income to many performers and teachers.

Advertising Community
This group is large, and largely self-centered. But I think I can bring some folks from this world into the Steemit community, especially once the “Community” feature launches. At the end of the day, I know I’ll be the “crypto” guy at the office.

Help the Development of New Platforms Built Off Steem

Hopefully I’ll have more news to share soon….
