How I got through the 'STUCK' on Steemit: Modifications In My Life Since I joined Steemit
Someone once asked me a question, Is it worth it? Is Steemit worth the time and energy? I didn't give a quick answer because I'm not the "quick to react" type. Many of us steemians sometimes ask ourselves this question, especially when we feel like we are 'stuck' on steemit and you can't just seem to be progressing. Well, this post shows how Steemit has modified my day to day activities, my perspective and not just earning alone.
Many steemians see Steemit as a platform just to make money and for this sake, people can't deliver quality post for readers and hence the get 'stuck' and with time, they quit. I'm Godwin, a guitarist, an engineer, a photographer and currently learning how to 'blog'. I started using steemit on October and I made my first post which amounted to nothing. I quickly gave up and abandoned it until not so recently. Why did I abandon Steemit? I did so because I was stuck, I wasn't moving anywhere and I saw no reason to continue. This is one the major factor newbies have on Steemit. We judge too hastily and because of that, many of us see Steemit as a waste of time and energy.
TAKING YOUR STEEMITE CAPACITY TO A NEW LEVEL
I started learning how to write very efficiently and that's one of the major improvement and modification that has undertaken my life the past few weeks. I've learnt a lot from steemit and that's because I could see past the 'STUCK'.
Earlier this month, I started getting little amount of sbd in my account from my posts and it was exciting, then i began to increase my territory and expand my scope . Thanks to @ejemai and @stach who has been supporting the project20millionnaija project on Steemit with its major task of enriching the lives of steemians in Uyo. I became a part of the Steemit uyo community (SUC) and ever since then my life has changed.

Steemit has changed my perspective towards issues in life. Steemit to me is not just a platform for making money, and I'm not saying it's not important to make money but instead let's develop a rich mentality. What is this 'rich mentality'? A rich mentality is one which is concerned about 'the whole' rather than one's self interest. A rich mentality considers others and is ready to help them go through their challenges. This is what Steemit Uyo Community is all about. We're creating steemians with the rich mentality mindset. With this mindset, being 'STUCK' becomes a minor problem or a neglected problem or sometimes it doesn't even qualify for the list of being a problem.
Has Steemit taken my time? Yes it has, on a good amount of time but priority is of essence. Spending your time wisely also improves your chances of overcoming the 'STUCK'. I have to admit, at first it wasn't all easy, I had to spend so much time and effort in getting my post upvoted just so to earn a little. But later on, I became enlightened. Steemit has taught me how to manage my time.
How do I get support to uplift me on Steemit? When you begin Steemit, it's a lot harder at first because you can't really get enough audience to kickstart your steemite journey and it all seems lost here. Well, the key here is working together in a group, in a community, in a society. Take for instance the Steemit uyo community has been helpful in so many ways by bringing together steemians with a sole purpose of adding value to their lives.
The Steemit uyo community has helped enriched other steemians not just by adding value but also creating an awareness project to help promote Steemit.
Steemit has modified my life in so many ways and I'm grateful for this platform that's helping to enrich our lives and give us the opportunity of being self sufficient and good entrepreneurs.
