Bug on Steemgigs Interface: log in button on homepage not functioning

Expected behavior

I am writing to report a bug I just spotted on the steemgigs.org site while I was trying to log in throughout this week.
In this article, I will provide series of proof while this error could have been nothing less than a bug.
As expected, when logging in to steemgigs.org, you click on log in icon at the right hand side of the page and you are directed into the site through steemconnect.

Actual behavior

Anytime I try logging in on utopian-io, after redirecting me to the site, it takes me right back to the homepage and brings me to my startpoint thus implying I can't log in and this issue is common in most users who are logging into the steemgigs interface for the first time.
The list of images below describes the problem encountered while logging in. Take a look at the first image as I try to log in on steemgigs.

Notice how it loads and take notice of the time when I'm logging in.

Notice how it returns back to the steemgigs homepage without logging into the site. This process has been repeated using a different browser to very if this is an authentic bug or not and to my suprise, while using the firefox app. The screen recording i did contains details of how i used the firefox app before using the google chrome and still experiencing the same fault.

How to reproduce

• Open the google chrome browser
• type in steemgigs.org and enter the site
• Using a steemit account which hasn't been logged on steemgigs yet, try logging into the steemgigs.org site.
• Input your username and password on the steemconnect like this shown below
