Gospel Bass runs and progressions "Put on Your Headphones" Series 1

This is my third vlog which i decided to take some timeout to do a quick bass guitar tutorial on basic gospel bass progressions and how to interchange notes between them indefinitely.

The technique in gospel progressions is quite simple but tricky, the notes interchanged are more components of the chord of that note. What I mean is a basic or triad chord has basically three notes which are the root note, the p, and the i . This entails i can substitute the root for the i and play that instead and it becomes more classy.
The song I used as an example is a Nigerian gospel titled nara kele by the D'convenant . The progressions i used reflects on how well the rhythmic pattern flows hence, the song choice.
In the video, I also included some bass runs, riffs and licks to spice up the play to sound more appealing. The tutorial is intermediate and a little bit of amateur. Reason is because the progressions can be learnt easily with the right finger-training which I would make sure to tutor you guys on next time and with a little bit of knowledge on the pentatonic scale, you can be able to scale through this with ease.

On other lessons coming soon, I'll show you guys more of basic progressions and more runs to choose and I will do my best to break them down thoroughly to the beginner's level. Hope you guys enjoy the video tutorial.
