WhatsApp : Disappearing feature

On November 5, 2020 WhatsApp launches its new feature officially with announcing it on Twitter.

The Facebook owned company said “the goal is to make conversation on WhatsApp feel as close to in person as possible, which means they shouldn’t have to stick around forever”. “That’s why we are excited to introduce the option to use disappearing message on WhatsApp. When the Disappearing message feature is turned on , new messages sent to a chat will disappear after 7 days, helping the conversation feel lighter and more private, said in a statement by WhatsApp Inc.
WhatsApp is testing this feature from 2017 and have launched similar to this feature in that year but the feature have many bugs and feature rolled out that year. Now WhatsApp launched this feature officially, available on all WhatsApp supported devices like Android, iOS, windows, Linux and WhatsApp web.
This new feature give some privacy to users but this has also some flaws.
To enable this feature users have to go on different chats to on this feature for the chat.
Still users can take screenshots to save the conversation, WhatsApp have to disable taking WhatsApp on this chat.
The messages from the disappeared chats can be forwarded and in the forwarded chat the message wouldn’t disappear.

There are many loop holes in the feature but WhatsApp new feature is on trending on twitter as users are excited about the feature.
