Sait Halim Pasha Mansion
Hello everyone :) I want to share some photos of the Sait Halim Pasha Mansion that taken by me,
At first I want to say something about Sait Halim Pasha,
He was an Aristocrat, Statesman and Philosopher and Born in Cairo in 1863, Sait Halim Pasha was the grandson of Muhammad Ali Pasha, a famous viceroy of Egypt often regarded as the founder of modern Egypt.
Mansion is in Yeniköy / İstanbul nearby the Bosphorus.
A scene from the Mansion's back garden ...
"The Hunt scene " painted by Felix-Auguste Clement ...
The mansion underwent a fire in 1995 while in use as “Official Guest House of the Prime Ministry”. The restoration of the burned mansion was completed in 2002, and the building was restored according to its original architectural style of the 1860’s. Allthough this table couldn't be moved from the mansion , it wasn't damaged by fluke...
Today, Sait Halim Pasha Mansion is one of Istanbul’s most popular venues for social gatherings from weddings to business meetings to special events.
Thanks for everyone:)
