Light Up Berlin - Light Painting Event Oct. 2019

ntopaz-image-0Light Painting is Photography of a different kind. We would like to host an exhibition, tons of workshops, a photo both and host some talks on the topic of Light Painting – the new art form of the 21st century combines photography with trades of traditional painting. During a long exposure the artist creates a painting just created by light. As a "brush" the artists use different light sources and existing spaces and objects are integrated into the creation. There are no limits to once imagination and fantasy. Impressive works of art are created sometimes in create collaborations and team work. Light Painting is a very integrative and inclusive happening. People come together to enjoy the creative and collaborative process. Yet each artist has his own signature. Most Light Painters in this world take part in this inspiring community. During the last years many have organized meeting-ups to create and inspire each other. A wonderful side effect is new art emerging from every collaboration.

We are organizing such a meeting in October 2019 in Berlin. This time around we want to go further than just have a few people gather and photograph. This time a hand full of artists from Berlin wants to invite the greater public to also participate and understand the process of creation of Light Painting. We love to incorporate some more features in to a Light Painters gathering than usual. We host in the same venue talks, an exhibition and workshops that creates a bridge between the artists and the interested public. Light Painters from around the world create light paintings for everyone in a Photo Booth.

Light Up Berlin will take place on October 5th 2019 in Berlin-Reinickendorf in the old substation Wittenau. We have putting such a nice program and its coming together sooooo nicely. Join in its going to be so much fun.

    Light Statue that's exactly what it is. The photos fly away and only the camera has a memory. That's what I love about it.

    You made me surprised again. It is like beam light. Not a line but a cure as a diagonal. Light is a magic to transform everything as an art. It is so fantastic! You located light exactly the center of the architecture. Compositionally so perfect. All of this picture shines by the light. So charming ~ Show us more ~
