Happy Birthday, Naomi
오늘은 제 딸의 생일이에요.
미국 나이로 6살이에요.
6년 전 8월 27일 이 날에 태어났어요.
(한국 나이로 8살이고요.)
Well, today is my daughter's birthday.
She's 6 years old in American age.
She was born 6 years ago on this day of August 27th.
(She's 8 years old in Korean age.)

Carrot cake
Chocolate cake
Chicken
Kimbab
Fruit
Balloons
But it wasn't always that easy.
She was born as a preemie baby.
She was born at 36 weeks because her size was that of a 31 week old baby. I had a C-section surgery. She weighed 1.9kg and she lived in an incubator for 28 days in Cheonan.
하지만 인생은 항상 그다지 쉬운 일이 아니었어요.
네요미는 미숙아로 태어났기 때문이죠.
그녀는 몸집이 31주된 아기의 크기였기 때문에 36주에 태어났어요.
저는 당연히 제왕절개 수술을 받았고 그 때 매우 무서웠어요 .
네요미의 몸무게는 1.9kg이였고 천안 순천향대학교병원에서 28일 동안 인큐베이터에서 살았어요.
She was so small that the only clothes that she could wear were doll clothes. It's hard to imagine.
네요미는 너무 작아서 그 때 입을 수 있는 유일한 옷은 인형 옷이었어요. 상상하기 힘드죠.
Her height is in the 1 percentile for her age according to the doctor...even to this day.
의사의 말씀에 따르면, 지금까지도 키의 ranking은 나이에 비해 1%에요.ㅠㅠ
Anyway, she grew up a lot! Her heart grew. What a warm heart she has~
어쨌든, 많이 컸어요! 마음도 많이 커졌죠. 얼마나 따뜻한 마음이 있어요 네요미는~

I remember wanting a balloon when I attend birthday parties of my neighbors.
A party just isn't a party without balloons, @cryptopie. Naomi requested carrot cake, so we got that and a chocolate cake. She had a fun time opening her gifts. And her gift from America arrived in time as well. It was a good day.
