How to Avoid Disappointment With Expectation Theory

We deserve whatever we want but we will never get everything we want
That is about the quote I have read somewhere and I agree with it

It means there are times when we get what we want and there are times when we are disappointed because the desire is not as expected
It is a common thing that will happen to anyone indiscriminately even monkey fur

When not getting desired , there are some people who can accept reality and move on , there are some who are disappointed to cry while clawing the walls
The topic of explanation for this article is why it can be a disappointment when something does not match expectations

The reason lies in a theory I call the theory of expectations
Expectations are expectations
Expectation is something we want to happen
Every day we always expect something

When it is cloudy , we hope it does not rain because we do not bring raincoats while riding a motorcycle or expect new rain to fall after arriving at the destination

At school we often wished hopefully super killer killer teacher fell into the gutter so not present

The point of expectation often begins with the words , "Hopefully ..."
Hope everything is all right
Hopefully they break up. Have a nice rainy night Hopefully Lee Min Ho can be my boyfriend
May I marry a single girl of a rich man whose father is dying
May I find a bunch of money on the road and hopefully others

But when 'HOPE' does not happen , we become disappointed
We expect things to happen as they wish but in reality life fools you by giving false hopes

Life will not always give you what you want
It is a law of nature that we can not fight even if we are Hulk or Superman
And with an understanding of the theory of expectations , how can we use them to avoid disappointment ?

The trick is minimally lower expectations or eliminate expectations altogether
Eliminating such expectations is very difficult to do , so all we can do is at least lower expectations
Lower your expectation

I like to watch movies in cinemas and before watching a movie I usually like to read movie reviews on forums
These reviews are from forum members who have been watching first
From there I can get a picture of whether the film is ugly , decent or good

I often observe a pattern about the expectations theory of forum members
For example there is a movie that says blockbuster movie or a big and popular movie
Based on reviews , many of those who set expectations are too high given the popularity of the film
After watching , the movie is not as good as expected
In other words their expectations are too high and eventually they are a bit disappointed

And at other times there are movies that are not very popular
Middle-class film that does not take much attention
Some members of the forum claimed to just watch for the whole day and did not put up any expectations
Some just put up a low exposure considering the movie is not very popular
Unexpectedly the film was very good
It can be said that the quality of the film is very high exceed the low expectations they put up so satisfied after watching

Do you already understand the pattern of this expectation theory ?
If you put expectations too high , you are vulnerable to disappointment
Conversely , if you put up an unfair expectation , often you will be satisfied and get something out of allegations that you never imagined

Then should we not expect too much ?
It is okay as long as we must be prepared if the results do not match expectations
Otherwise , we will surely be upset to the claws of the walls
