Railways and Poetry - Traintrips

Hello my friends,

Let me share with you my pictures and memories of one train trip I had the chance to take part to.

Train trips are always too long and often boring.

Actually, no, it depends on what you want to do during this trip. For an example, during this 6 hours-long journey, I have been monopolizing the rear window of the train, to shoot pictures and videos from this incredible point of view. According to me, it lasted for 10 minutes. But my friends told me I stood there for at least 2 hours...

Again, what I found interesting there was the singular point of view, self-expliciting speed felling, nostalgy and also the feeling of being the very first to see what I was seeing.

Especially on diverging rails, which for me symbolize the way you chose and the way you ignored.

From this point of view you're not only shooting pictures, but also writing down poetry...

Parallel lines can be very close, but will never ever meet...

Crossings happen, and you never know if you'll meet again...

Train trips make me feel and think that I am really lucky to have my friends around me.
