You know when you're a kid and people ask what you like or your mom wants to know what you want your birthday party theme to be or how you want to decorate your room? Well, for me it was always horses, I love them. I always thought I'd grow up and have a bunch of them and work with them everyday. Pretty much every ten-year-old girl's dream.
Today my opinion on claiming ownership of an animal is very different. It's not something I choose to discuss because it can be a very controversial subject and at the end of the day people will feel what they want to feel. That's not to say it's not worth talking about, I just don't think it's my place to change someone else's choices. .

With everything going on today though, it's somehow a very calming thought to realize how much life there is on this planet that is unaffected by the latest news reports. Lives that don't care what latest trendy conspiracy is circulating the internet. Animals exist without fear of the past or the future. They live in the present, living moment to moment. They are loyal and trusting to those they can physically see and tough, not words on a page or voices on a screen. .
