Thank you Monica! Back then I was using a fast drying synthetic resin medium as a varnish which is not stable and as a result the colors yellowed quite a bit, especially in the sky.
Nobody knows that! :)) Perfect fluffy and ghostly cloud! ;)

Thank you Mirjana! By the way, the stone I've used as a reference for this painting (and many others) is from Brač island in Croatia!
I understand now the act of energy too, as Brac stone is one of world's recognized for its beauty.
Great stuff - did they buy it from the Brauer Class show, or before? I got the catalog somewhere from the exhibition at the Belvedere.

It was from the Brauer class show. They bought paintings from a few of the exhibiting students.
I just knew it - is it publicly available, or stored in a vault, never to be seen again? I could imagine a show with Brauer and some of his top students in, lets say, the Leopold Museum. Just dreaming in technicolor ......
It's in the vault. You only can see it in the inventory catalogue.
