At Vava'u cemeteries were a curiosity for us. Some want to have their buried relatives near their homes, they are also buried overlooking the ocean. Graves are very colorful, some even have a canopy, colorful treads, ribbons and other decorations that characterize these areas are arranged.
The people on Vava'u are very cheerful, their sadness is huge after losing their relatives or friends, but a towered and decorated grave is to show a better life than life on earth. Everyone who looks at the grave is to arouse pleasant memories, which are worth a smile, and in the atmosphere of colors it is more possible than with a gray tomb. That's what local people think.
So, final destination is also very spectacular view, vava'u make it as like other natural decorative whats other expect too. That's it!
I was expecting it, however it impressed me.
