Some people’s mind forbids good things, royalty and excellence. They don’t have the mental capacity to handle greatness.

They see someone doing well, they will begin to say he is doing money ritual or she’s now sleeping around.

Take them to a building that has an escalator and they will still be climbing it as if its a staircase in the opposite direction, neither will they want to learn.

King Nebuchadnezzar was used to royalty, everything he wanted and did was top notch and excellent, everyone brought around him were people that had high intelligence and were geniuses. But one day, something happened to his mind and immediately royalty and excellence became too much for him to handle and he ran away into the bush(mediocrity).

So your mind determines your life and lot. Some of us almost get intimidated by excellence.

A wealthy guy with class approaches you as a lady who probably in terms of wealth doesn’t measure up to him and just like charm you can’t remember how to breathe again. You become so uncomfortable until you come back to your street guy that sags and wears slippers on a monday morning to go out Jes negodu!!!

What is my point?
Upgrade your mind and train your mind, first of all through:

The scriptures, because through the scriptures you see the original picture of whom God made you as - A king, A Queen, Royalty.

Then good books. The information you internalize forms your thoughts which affects your words, then your actions and over time repeatedly, it becomes a habit and a consistent habit becomes a reflection of who you are.

Then your association. The company you keep will most definitely affect the way you reason, there are people you keep hanging around and you will feel everything is difficult and impossible while there are some you stay with and your mind sees possibilities only.
