Christmas is almost here! Where to go if you want to eat vegan these days? Check out these events to celebrate Christmas vegan style in Amsterdam.

1x Meatless Christmas Brunch

On Sunday 24th of December, the day Christmas vibes are getting real, you can have yourself a lovely 4 course Christmas brunch at the Meatless District between 11:00 and 16:00. On the menu you can find a soup of kaki, truffle focaccia with 'Parmesan', 'eggs' Benedict and a chocolate brownie.

2x Xmas Eve: SNCK for charity

SNCKBR is not a 100% vegan restaurant but they are definitely green lovers. So for their SNCKmas Xmas Eve on the 24th of December, they are having culinary plant based options as well! For the ultimate Christmas spirit they are donating part of their revenue to a good cause.

3x The Meets X-mas dinner

The Meets is a lovely vegan restaurant in the Amsterdam neighborhood 'de Pijp'. On second Christmas Day they provide a beautiful 3 and 4 course dinner with bubbles, X-Mas soup, vegetables stove, pumpkin truffle risotto and vegan chocolate mousse with matcha macaron.

4x Vredesdienst voor dieren

December 22nd there will be a special service in the Nassau church in Amsterdam West, a peace service for the animals. This service doesn't have a churchy character but a humanitarian one. It's a call to celebrate a meatless Christmas and to dwell on our relation to animals. Beforehand you can enjoy a vegan and organic 3 course meal for only 9 euros!

5x Tofurky & Mistletoes at Mr. & Mrs. Watson

Mr. & Mrs. Watson opened their doors this summer and instantly became a vegan hotspot. For the Christmas period (except for December 24, 25 and 26) they serve a vegan 3 course dinner and for lunch a set menu full of tasty and unforgettable snacks.

6x DopHert Vegan Christmas Brunch & Dinner

Dophert is a great vegan spot in the Spaarndammerstraat, close to Haarlemmerdijk and Westerpark. On the 24th of December you can spent the whole day at DopHert, as they are providing an Earlybird and Lazy Late Brunch, plus a Christmas dinner. The brunches will have a vegan buffet full of tasty vegan food, including lots of delicious sweets. If you can't get enough you can return in the evening for a festive 5 course vegan dinner. The menu will be announced shortly.

7x Concious Kerstmis at Odessa

Ecstatic dance and vegan dinner on the Odessa ship. A hippiesque event including a two hour dance meditation, relaxation times in a hot tub and sauna, a vegan buffet to be enjoyed together with the Odessa family in the ship's lounge... and who knows what more! It's all about celebrating Christmas consciously.

x Bonus Tip x Hortus by Light

After you've enjoyed your lovely vegan Christmas meal, take a walk through the lush greenery of the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam. Especially for the Christmas period the botanical garden will be opened in the evenings, except for December 25 & 26.
