Ich sende auch ein Bild - nehme aber am Wettbewerb nicht Teil.

Auf dem Bild war ich 16 Jahre alt und es wurde vor 40 Jahren fotografiert. Damals gab es ja noch die DDR, in der ich lebte - ich war damals schon ein kleiner Rebell, der nicht angepasst war und sich nicht gefallen lassen hatte. Das ging so weit das ich auch Probleme mit der Staatsmacht der damaligen Staatssicherheit "Stasi" hatte :) Aber alles gut überstanden und im Nachhinein bin ich der Meinung das man durch die Wiedervereinigung mehr verloren hat als gewonnen. Aber das ist meine persönliche Meinung.

I was 16 years old in the picture and it was taken 40 years ago. At that time there was still the GDR, where I lived - I was already a little rebel back then, who didn't conform and didn't take any shit. That went so far that I also had problems with the state power of the then state security "Stasi" :) But I survived everything well and in retrospect I think that we lost more than we gained through reunification. But that is my personal opinion.
