UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest : Week 43 - Night view of the Tiber river
UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest: Week 43
Night view of the Tiber river
in addition to the many ancient monuments and statues
the fountains and the Vatican
we also had the opportunity to walk along the Tiber River
and especially at night, when the river is illuminated
The Tiber River is the third largest river in Italy with a length of 406 km
It rises from the Apennine Mountains in Emilia-Romagna,
specifically from Mount Fumaiolo,
and passes through several cities, such as Perugia and Lazio,
before passing through Rome and ending up in the Tyrrhenian Sea
In Rome, apart from the walk you can always take on the edge of the river
you can also take a dinner cruise and taste some delicious Italian cuisine while sailing close to some of the city's main attractions
but apart from the wonderful italian cuisine,
the cocktails, the wine and the wonderful atmosphere
the night lighting also makes it a perfect romantic experience
photos are my property and had been taken during a past trip to Rome
