The Race To Greatness
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. — Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV).
In life, it appears that some people succeed, while some fail. The truth is that everyone is a success, just that our successes happen in different times. Thus, the fact that I didn't succeed yesterday doesn't mean that I won't today. It's interesting, then to understand that our times of success, breakthroughs, favors, strength, prosperity and deliverance does not define who we are, it only defines the variableness of life.
The physical life is limited by time and God made it so. God already blessed us from the foundation of the world, but time and chance must happen to us. So, the blessings we see did not come that day,but only happened that day! Let us not glorify happenings, but glorify God who originated the blessings and delivered it into time and chance, thus bringing the happenings. Jesus is all we need and no matter the time, our rights in Christ will surely manifest without fail.
While we wait for our times and chances, let us continue the race. Don't stop because your blessings have not manifested. All you ever desired have been delivered into the confines of time: WAIT FOR IT. Continue the good works, don't spoil your greatness with compromise. The bible doesn't say we should be lazy and wait for time. Don't stop working because things are not working for you. Forge ahead for your time is at hand. Continue praying no matter how long the answers seems to manifest. Don't try to fasten your time, perfect your life and wait. Be prepared to accommodate your breakthroughs. You are a success.
Sin contaminate times, bringing evil happenings. Please don't live in sin anymore. Come to Jesus today and He'll beautify the happenings in your life.
Let's pray. Omnipotent Father, thank you for bringing us into this world in a time like this. Please help us to live by your instructions. Let every evil carried by time and chance be destroyed, giving way to the manifestation of your gifts upon our lives, in Jesus name. Amen. I cherish you.
