Who is Jesus Christ?
He's the Prince of peace
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah9:6
In Isaiah53, He's described as a lamb taken to be slaughtered for our sins, without any attempt to justify His sinless or innocent disposition: He's the Prince of peace. In His birth, He's taken to Egypt, away from Herode, instead of staging a fight, because He's the Prince of peace. In the middle of storms in the river of Galilee, He arose and declare ' peace be still' and there was a great calm because He's the embodiment of peace. Healing all manner of infirmities, He brought peace to the body of every sick person that comes His way, for His peace is contagious, Hallelujah! He prevented Peter from fighting the soldiers that came to arrest Him, despite His innocence, for He's our peace. I present to you Jesus Christ, the Prince of our peace. He offers peace that defies human understanding or philosophy.
He's not just an epitome of peace but also a giver of peace, declaring " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" John 14:27. His peace cast away depression and fear. His peace is greater and more powerful than what the world offer. Are you going through trauma, depression or fear? Come to Jesus with your burdens today, for He'll grant you peace and rest. He's our peace.

Abba Father, thank you for your peace through Christ. Today, we come to you with every issues of life, please let your peace overwhelm us, give us rest on every side, in Jesus name. Amen. Shalom.
