Humility of Thoughts

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

The human thought system is crucial in determining how we think, talk and act.

Most of the peace or conflict we have in our society is because of our line of thought.

When we regard ourselves higher and better than others, we tend to look down on them and blame them for their misfortune and inabilities.

We tend to attribute our achievements to how smart, intelligent and qualified we are.

The world system supports it, thus the messages of self confidence and self exaltation.

Today, the Holy Spirit admonishes us to come down from our high hoses and think soberly according to the measure of faith given to us.

This line of thought connotes moderation, humility, restraining from excess activities and high mindedness.

Don't go out of what your faith can handle, thus putting yourself under pressure.

God is committed to bless us, but we must be contended in what He has given us and trust Him for more. Let us remain humble till our change come and reference Him in the midst of our success.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the grace and measure of faith you have given us. Please help to be sober in our thinking and dealings, in Jesus name. Amen.
