Blessed In His Deed
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. — James 1:25 (KJV)
This is the description of the' Blessed man' . It's amazing,brethren that God's mindset of blessings is not based on material accumulations. As humans,we are tempted to think a man is blessed when he has beautiful houses,cars, businesses,connections,academic qualifications,etc. These things are good but from God's point of view they are merely additions to a blessed man. A blessed man is he that continues in the word of God,Hallelujah! Never measure a man of the 'word' by what he wears,drive or who he has in the society. Provided you stay on the path of Christ,you are already blessed. Never lose focus of the perfect law of liberty. Never be distracted by what to get so you won't lose the ' who ' to get. Since material things are not the blessings but additions to the blessed man,we should always seek to be blessed and remain blessed by the word of God. Today, I encourage you to stay connected to the greatest connection : Christ Jesus,the reigning king. Never be a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. The work is trusting and obeying Him in everything. I pray for you today,that you will stay blessed and more blessed and much more blessed from today in Jesus's name.
