Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew7:13 -14

Jesus is the straight gate to eternity with God. There's no other way to life eternal without Him. We must enter with Christ, without Him we can't have the life of God. Destruction looms in the broad way of the world system and pleasures of life. Pride is the broad way. Arrogance, hatred, fraud, immorality, envy are all the broad way, he that enters them shall not find life, but destruction. The broad ways are always easy to access, full of people. It's attractive and full of fun, but the end is destruction. Don't be found there!

Jesus is calling out to everyone that will endure the suffering of the narrow way. Are you ready to endure the afflictions of being deprived of pleasure at the moment so you find eternal life at the end? Are you ready to let go of your reputation and be found in Christ at all times? Narrow is the way and few people find it. There's no fun or earthly pleasure in holiness. But this is the way to everlasting life. Go through the narrow way, be found in Christ.

Let's pray together. Dear Father, thank you for showing us the way to greatness. Please help us to overcome every entanglements with the world system, that we may be found in the narrow way, in Jesus name. Amen.
