You must know how to handle things when you and someone else own something, or you and a lot of people own something, and lastly when that thing is simply your own. If you love something, what do you do? You protect it, that's common knowledge, that some people fail to understand; simply because they're too kind.

You must be very careful in life, so that you don't become too kind, such that people will take you for a ride. When something is owned by you and another person, you're not solely the owner of that thing, you must ensure you work hand in hand with your partner or your second, to protect whatever you both have.

If anything goes wrong with that thing, the responsibility to fix it doesn't rest on your shoulders alone, but rather on both your shoulders. Second, when you and a lot of people own something, you'll have to learn to be a team player, as you have a role to play in the protecting of that thing. This means that the responsibility of protecting that thing rests on all your shoulders.

At this point, you're not solely responsible for fixing any damage. When something is owned by lots of people there's usually lots of problems, and that thing may suffer, because nobody takes full responsibility for it. You'll probably hear people say "well, it's not my own". And indeed it's not. But you still have to make efforts to ensure that everyone plays their role, so that you all protect it collectively.

Third, When that thing is your own. It becomes a lot more delicate when you're the sole owner of something (perhaps a business or something valuable). You have to do all it takes to protect that thing and make sure that no harm comes to it. When it's your own, no one else will care about it as much as you. Sometimes they may even want to play with it, break it or even destroy it. It becomes your responsibility to protect it.

Hi @greatideas partners bring added value and remove certain obstacles. Identify the importance of knowing how to choose partners, select the right person(s) and get to work. You may think they have very different approaches to life, but that can be a strength.

Yes, two good heads tend to be better than one. Thanks for commenting.
