Understanding Cryptocurrency from person who don't have any technical background

I'm in progress in understanding this cryptocurrency. It was my friend's fault who introduces into this madness. What the hell is that?! I'm person whose internet is basically for social media.

I found a blog that will help newbies like me. In this blog you will somewhat understand the history and how it really work.

Cryptocurrency is digital cash which you trade from one currency to another. For a typical investor it was like Forex which you can earn if you exchange one currency for another in the expectation that the price will change. I believe that this is good investment since most people is not yet aware with this digital currency.
