French dining in the heart of Cebu
Have you heard of LA Vivien Parisonne? Yeah it's that French restaurant in Lahug ,Cebu City famous for its wine cellar
Years back ,the first time I have been in this place was with my folks. Back then just croissant, cheese and outdoor garden ambiance were it's appeal.
Now, I am amazed how they transformed the place with antique wooden cabinets and dimly lighted indoor experience complete with a deer's head on the wall and fake fur on leather sofas.
The smell of the place is pure divine. The elegant ways the cakes, biscuits, frozen cuts are showcased with chandeliers, flowers you'd think you were in the countryside. These coupled with crews in stripe shirts you'd think you're in Europe with all those gelatin ,pizza and pastries and wines to choose from
Yes it was an experience. My cousin and I made our own pasta with white sauce, ate fresh salad and simply couldn't resist to the ice cream creamy and they are.
The cocoon like kiosk with it's neon light was dreamy but it's sad to notice that this place have mixed theme as the main store was French, the outdoor was modern with its neon chair and Indian with it's tent. Just the same because we enjoyed the ice cream much we couldn't let this mismatch or weak Wi-Fi destroy our mood.
The place is expensive and I was disappointed that the fortune teller machine just took in my ten pesos without telling me my fate all together it was an awesome experience.
Do try it.
My cousin Zion was all smile afterall.Poorer by fee hundred but we are all beaming with smiles.Because though we have not been to Eiffel Tower of Paris or down in its street cafes we however had a French dining experience.
