World Wide Webs

All my friends are stuck in the web,

There lost in its nets.

It's world wide,

They couldn't escape it if they tried;

It does no use to pull these strings,

When your world is of these nylon things.

Cookie cutters and plastic,

I smiled all day,

Now I'll take my mask back!

Someone please...

My heart has been attacked,

The tin man, hollow like that.

Homesick...

In my own home.....

I wander in homelessness all alone.

Lost in the ways of wizards,

Bundled up for the seasons first blizzard.

The snowflakes are one of a kind,

Their finger prints kiss my eyes.

I see Shooting stars ,

They fly with pride across the sky.

As I watch them I sit and ponder why...

Must I part the seas?

Then will I find this pride?

The kind these stars display with ease?

If so, I must let you know,

I've tried,

They never seem to part for me.

With both hemispheres I concentrate,

Then I head to Superior

The Greatest of the Lakes.

Today is the day,

This is the way;

Like Buddha

Jesus, Mohammad and Krishna,

I've sat in silence long enough to listen.

God bless me

Bless me with Godspeed,

Bags of money and a serotonin drip,

Never mind, just hand me the syringe!

It's been a while...

But I think I still know how to do it.

God says:

"Shhhhh.... Shhhh... Shhh.. My sweetest of doves"

I feel a prick,

God slides the needle in.

"There you are my Son, I've filled you with all of my love."

"Now sit and ponder again..."

"You did well, but you didn't quite get it..."

"Your getting closer though,"

"With every minute."
